North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has ordered the mass production of self-detonating drones after overseeing successful tests that destroyed targets, state media reported.
Kim emphasized the growing global use of drones in warfare and called them essential for modern military strategy.
This follows concerns about North Korea’s military ties with Russia, including reports of 10,000 North Korean troops aiding Russia in Ukraine, CNN has reported.
The move aligns with a newly ratified defense pact between Pyongyang and Moscow, solidifying their cooperation amidst international isolation.
