Federal prosecutors have accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of breaking jail rules to manipulate witness testimony and influence the jury pool in his upcoming trial.
Combs, facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution, is currently in custody.
Prosecutors claim he has been using three-way calls and paying inmates to contact potential witnesses and promote narratives on social media.
They also allege he directed his children to post a birthday video to sway potential jurors, NBC News has reported.
Combs’ legal team is fighting his detention and seeking a new bail hearing, but prosecutors argue he is a flight risk and a threat to others.
