President-elect Donald Trump has selected Brendan Carr to be the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Trump praised Carr as a “warrior for Free Speech” and vowed he would end regulatory burdens hindering job creators and innovators.
Carr, currently the top Republican at the FCC, expressed gratitude for the nomination, pledging to restore free speech and dismantle censorship, THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER has reported.
Carr recently made headlines for criticizing Saturday Night Live for violating FCC’s Equal Time rule by hosting Vice President Kamala Harris without offering equal time to Trump.
