Pro-Putin spokesperson Sergey Markov has issued a warning of potential “WW3 by Christmas,” claiming Western approval for Ukraine to fire long-range missiles into Russia marks a significant step toward nuclear conflict.

Markov argued that Ukraine relies on U.S., UK, and French military assistance to use these precision missiles, framing the move as direct Western involvement in the war.

While supporters of the decision view it as a necessary response to Russian aggression, Markov described it as a “big jump” toward nuclear escalation, The Express has reported.

He suggested tactical nuclear strikes could target Eastern Europe and warned of a potential global catastrophe.
