Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly skipping the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation on January 27, fearing potential arrest in Poland due to its support for the ICC’s war crimes warrant against him.
The event, marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, will host global leaders, including Britain’s King Charles.
Israeli authorities have not coordinated attendance, and President Isaac Herzog also plans to miss the event, the Times of Israel has reported.
