Four people were found dead in a Wakefield, New Hampshire home on Christmas Day, suspected to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Police discovered the bodies of two older and two younger adults during a welfare check after family members reported them missing from a holiday gathering.
Authorities believe the deaths were accidental, linked to a gas heating system, and noted the home lacked carbon monoxide detectors, ABC News has reported.
Autopsies are scheduled to confirm the cause of death, and officials emphasized the importance of working carbon monoxide alarms.
