President Joe Biden signed 50 bills into law on Tuesday, including one making the bald eagle the official bird and another stopping convicted members of Congress from collecting pensions.
He also established the first federal anti-hazing standard for higher education and signed a bill supported by Paris Hilton to hold youth treatment centers accountable.
Biden recently vetoed a bill to add new judges, commuted sentences for 37 federal inmates, and pardoned his son Hunter, Reuters has reported.
These actions come as Biden wraps up his final priorities before the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
