2 bodies found in the wheel well of a JetBlue plane in Fort Lauderdale

Two men were found dead in the wheel well of a JetBlue plane after it landed in Fort Lauderdale from New York’s JFK Airport.

Their bodies were discovered during post-flight maintenance, and their identities and how they accessed the aircraft remain unknown.

Authorities, including the TSA and Broward County Sheriff’s Office, are investigating.

The Airbus A320 had been in continuous service throughout the day, CNN has reported.

This incident follows a similar case two weeks earlier on a United Airlines flight, highlighting the dangers of stowaways attempting to hide in landing gear compartments, where survival rates are extremely low.
