Police in Denver are searching for a man who stabbed three people on the 16th Street Mall Saturday night, resulting in one death and two injuries.
The first stabbing occurred near Tremont Street, where the male victim sought medical help for non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after, the suspect fatally stabbed a woman at California Street, and her identity has not been released.
The third victim, a male, was stabbed at 16th and Lawrence Street and is expected to survive.
Police believe the attacks were random, with no known connection between the suspect and the victims, and the motive is unclear.
Denver police released video footage of the suspect and are asking businesses to check surveillance for evidence, ABC 7 Denver has reported.
Additional officers were stationed at the mall on Sunday for heightened security.
