A group of hooded and masked individuals vandalized the Multnomah County Elections building in Portland early Monday, shattering windows and spray-painting anti-government graffiti in what police described as an “orchestrated attack.”
Surveillance footage shows eight suspects using spray paint, hammers, and heavy objects to damage the building before fleeing within minutes.
The office, unoccupied at the time, reopened Tuesday with boarded-up windows. Police are investigating and seeking information on the suspects.
This follows a separate incident in October when incendiary devices destroyed ballots in Oregon and Washington, the Associated Press has reported.
No arrests have been made in either case.
