Police in Hartford, Connecticut, are investigating a shooting that injured a 12-year-old boy after he threw a snowball at a passing car.
The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the victim, playing with an 11-year-old friend, was shot multiple times after the car circled back.
The boy, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are looking into the case, reviewing video footage and other leads to identify the car and its occupants, USA Today has reported.
As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made.
