However, GOP leaders have expressed concerns, calling the session premature due to a lack of detailed proposals.

DeSantis vowed to use his constitutional authority to push the legislature into action, emphasizing the urgency of addressing immigration issues immediately, Fox News has reported.

He also called for additional hurricane aid and other legislative measures.
