Stocks remained mostly flat on Tuesday as investors tried to recover from a recent sell-off triggered by concerns over the Chinese AI startup DeepSeek.

The Dow Jones was slightly higher, while the S&P 500 dipped and the Nasdaq fell 0.2%.

Nvidia saw a 1% drop following its massive 17% loss on Monday.

Investors are focusing on corporate earnings, with companies like Starbucks, Meta, Microsoft, Tesla, and Apple reporting soon.

Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve began its policy meeting, with no change in interest rates expected, CNBC has reported.

Data showing a 2.2% drop in durable goods orders in December added to market concerns.
