Belgian police chasing two suspects in metro tunnels after Brussels shooting

Police in Brussels are searching for two suspects who fled into metro tunnels after a shooting at Clemenceau station around 6 a.m. Wednesday.

No injuries were reported. Surveillance footage showed the suspects entering public transport tunnels, prompting a search and investigation.

Authorities found cartridge cases but made no arrests, and they do not believe the incident is terror-related, CNN has reported.

The Clemenceau and Midi metro stations were temporarily closed. Reports suggest the shooting was drug-related, with the suspects missing their intended target.
