500 eggs stolen in Seattle breakfast heist, police scramble to crack case

Police are investigating a theft at Luna Park Cafe in West Seattle, where thieves stole around 540 eggs, valued at $387, along with bacon, ground beef, blueberries, and liquid egg products early Wednesday.

The suspects, seen on security footage, entered a refrigerated shed and loaded the items into a van before fleeing.

The total value of the stolen goods is about $780.

The incident occurred amid record-high egg prices due to the bird flu outbreak, KOMO News has reported.

The van later returned to the scene, but the suspects fled again when spotted.
