Earthquake rocks Area 51

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck near the secretive Area 51 base in Nevada, with its epicenter located 50 miles east of Amargosa Valley.

The tremor, while minor, raised questions about potential damage to the highly classified facility.

This earthquake follows a magnitude-7.6 quake in the Caribbean that sparked tsunami warnings for several islands.

While some alerts were issued and later lifted, no significant damage was reported in affected areas, The Mirror has reported.

The U.S. National Tsunami Warning Center also issued advisories for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, which were eventually canceled.
