148 pounds of crystal meth found in stone landscaping pavers in North Carolina

Police in North Carolina seized 148 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in concrete landscape pavers ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit discovered the drugs in Pantego, following an earlier arrest in Pitt County.

K-9s led officers to the drugs, which were concealed in 84 pavers, each containing 800 grams of meth, the USA Today has reported.

The investigation, involving multiple agencies, is still ongoing.
