A proposed Missouri bill would make it a felony for undocumented immigrants to be in the state and bar them from voting, obtaining driver’s licenses, or receiving public benefits.

Introduced by Senator David Gregory, the bill also creates a bounty hunter program to detain undocumented immigrants and offers citizens $1,000 for reporting individuals leading to an arrest.

It establishes a public tip system through email, phone, and online submissions, the Local 12 has reported.
