Florida police say 16-year-old Miranda Corsette was kidnapped, killed, and dismembered by a couple who lured her through a social media app.

Steven Gress, 35, met Corsette online, and she later stayed at his home with his partner, Michelle Brandes, 37.

After an argument over missing jewelry, the couple allegedly beat and tortured her for days before killing her.

Gress then dismembered her body at Brandes’ mother’s home and disposed of it in a dumpster.

Brandes turned herself in, and both face first-degree murder charges, CBS News has reported.

Police are searching for Corsette’s remains.
