SpaceX Dragon capsule arrives at launch site for Crew-10 astronaut flight to ISS

The Crew Dragon Endurance capsule, set to carry astronauts on the Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS), has arrived at SpaceX’s hangar at Launch Complex-39A.

The mission, scheduled for launch no earlier than March 12, will transport NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov to the ISS for a six-month stay.

The launch was delayed from February to March for spacecraft maintenance.

The flight-proven Endurance capsule, which has already completed three missions, will replace a new Crew Dragon that wasn’t ready in time.

Crew-10’s arrival will mark the return of Crew-9, including astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been aboard the ISS for nearly ten months, Space.com has reported.

The mission is set to launch at 7:48 p.m. EDT on March 12, with docking scheduled for March 13.
