The Trump administration’s Department of Education announced investigations into 60 universities over alleged antisemitic discrimination and harassment.
Secretary Linda McMahon warned schools they could face legal consequences if they fail to protect Jewish students under Title VI.
The investigations stem from anti-Israel protests following the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attacks.
Ivy League and major state schools, including the University of Michigan and UVA, are among those under scrutiny, Fox News has reported.
The administration previously revoked $400 million in federal funding from Columbia University over its handling of antisemitism complaints.
