Google DeepMind has integrated its advanced AI model, Gemini, into robots, enabling them to perform tasks like mini basketball slam dunks without prior demonstrations.

Announced on March 12, Gemini Robotics enhances spatial reasoning and physical understanding, aiming to create intuitive, general-purpose machines.

While promising, the approach raises safety concerns due to AI’s potential for errors, Nature has reported.
