Poll: Democratic Party’s favorability drops to a record low

A new CNN poll shows the Democratic Party’s favorability rating at a record low of 29%, driven by growing dissatisfaction from within its own ranks.

The poll found that 57% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents believe the party should focus on blocking the Republican agenda rather than cooperating with the GOP.

Additionally, only 63% of Democrats view their party favorably, down from 81% in 2021.

Despite this, most Democrats still want their leaders to fight the GOP, though some moderates still favor compromise, CNN has reported.

The poll also highlighted a lack of consensus on party leadership, with no clear leader emerging to challenge President Trump’s influence.
