Catholic leader in Kansas sues satanic church, arguing it stole holy items for ritual

Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City, Kansas, has filed a motion to recover the Eucharist, which a Satanic group claims to have stolen for desecration at a planned “black mass” on March 28.

The motion names Michael T. Stewart, Travis L. Roberts, and The Grotto Society as defendants.

Stewart allegedly confirmed possession of the consecrated host and wine, stating his intent to desecrate them.

Naumann argues that all consecrated Eucharistic elements belong to the Catholic Church and seeks their immediate return, the Catholic Register has reported.

A court hearing is set for March 20, and the archdiocese has called for prayer and action against the event.
