Bernie Sanders is drawing record crowds as he pushes Democrats to ‘fight oligarchy’

Sen. Bernie Sanders has become a leading voice against President Trump’s aggressive push to shrink the federal government, criticizing both Trump’s policies and the Democratic Party’s failure to address economic inequality.

Sanders warns that billionaires like Elon Musk, who has played a key role in federal spending cuts, are driving the country toward oligarchy.

On his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rallied thousands in Las Vegas, Tempe, and Denver, calling out threats to Social Security, Medicaid, and government agencies.

Despite Democrats lacking control in Washington, they urged voters to resist policies benefiting the wealthy at the expense of working families, NPR has reported.

Ocasio-Cortez argued that Trump’s divisive politics are ironically uniting people against corporate greed.
