The National Medal of Honor Museum has opened in Arlington, honoring recipients of the nation’s highest military award.
CEO Chris Cassidy emphasized its mission to inspire service through stories of courage and sacrifice.
The museum, three years in the making, features symbolic architecture, including five pillars representing each military branch and a central light for the Space Force.
Inside, the Ring of Valor displays the names of all 3,528 recipients, alongside artifacts, exhibits, and a Huey helicopter, Fox 4 has reported.
The 100,000-square-foot museum officially opened to the public on Medal of Honor Day.
