New Mexico Republican Party headquarters targeted in suspected arson attack, officials say

The New Mexico Republican Party headquarters in Albuquerque was targeted in a suspected arson attack early Sunday.

Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, which damaged the front entryway and caused smoke damage throughout the building.

Graffiti reading “ICE=KKK” was also found on the site.

Party officials condemned the incident as politically motivated violence, while the Democratic Party of New Mexico also denounced the attack, ABC News has reported.

Authorities, including the FBI and ATF, are investigating. No injuries were reported.
