A powerful storm that spawned multiple tornadoes, baseball-sized hail, and deadly winds is moving toward the eastern seaboard after killing at least six people in the central U.S. over the weekend.
Three children died in Michigan when a tree fell on their vehicle, while severe winds also caused fatalities in Indiana and Oklahoma.
More than 400,000 homes lost power, primarily in Michigan, Louisiana, and Mississippi, CNN has reported.
The storm is expected to bring damaging winds, hail, and possible tornadoes from the South to the Northeast before moving into the Atlantic by Tuesday.
