A fireball from a burst gas pipeline in Malaysia injures 145 people

A gas pipeline explosion near Kuala Lumpur sent a massive fireball into the sky, injuring 145 people, including three children.

The blaze, caused by a burst Petronas pipeline, burned for hours, damaging 190 houses and 148 cars.

Dozens remain hospitalized with severe burns. Authorities are investigating the cause, and homes within 290 meters remain off-limits.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim pledged financial aid and repairs, warning that restoration could take months, the Associated Press has reported.

Residents reported strong tremors, collapsing ceilings, and intense heat as they fled.
