A new book by reporters Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes reveals that Democrats privately worried about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline ahead of his June debate with Donald Trump, despite publicly defending his fitness for office.

The book, FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, details efforts by Biden’s team to conceal signs of aging, including daily makeup sessions and canceled briefings.

It also recounts instances of Biden struggling to recognize political allies and pressuring Kamala Harris to remain publicly loyal to his policies, Fox News has reported.

The revelations highlight growing concerns within Biden’s party about his ability to serve another term.
