Trump allies scrutinize Judge Boasberg’s DC connections as high-stakes legal battles escalate

Federal Judge James Boasberg is facing intense criticism from Donald Trump and his allies over his rulings in multiple lawsuits involving the Trump administration.

Boasberg, a former FISA Court judge and current chief judge of the D.C. District Court, has been accused of judicial bias, particularly after halting Trump’s deportation orders.

Trump has repeatedly called for Boasberg’s impeachment, claiming he obstructs law and order.

Chief Justice John Roberts defended the judiciary, stating impeachment is not an appropriate response to legal disagreements, Fox News has reported.

Boasberg also faced scrutiny after being randomly assigned to a case involving leaked Trump administration communications, further fueling conservative backlash.
