DoorDash and Coco Robotics are expanding their partnership to bring sidewalk robot deliveries to Los Angeles and Chicago.

Building on a pilot program in Helsinki, Coco’s zero-emission robots will now deliver restaurant, convenience, and grocery orders from nearly 600 retailers via the DoorDash app.

The initiative is part of DoorDash’s broader strategy to integrate autonomous delivery methods, including drones and robots, to cut costs and emissions, the Progressive Grocer has reported.

Coco has completed over 500,000 robot deliveries since its founding in 2020.
