‘Doomsday mom’ Lori Vallow Daybell is convicted in fourth husband’s death

Lori Vallow Daybell, dubbed the “Doomsday Mom,” was convicted in Arizona of conspiring to murder her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, in 2019.

Prosecutors argued she plotted his death to collect life insurance and start a new life with doomsday author Chad Daybell, whom she married months later.

Vallow Daybell, already serving a life sentence for the murders of her two children and Chad Daybell’s first wife, claimed the killing was self-defense.

The jury rejected her defense, and she now faces another potential life sentence, NBC News has reported.

Sentencing will follow another pending case involving an alleged conspiracy to kill her niece’s ex-husband.
