Israel’s military says it has fully disabled Yemen’s main airport with strikes

Israel launched airstrikes Tuesday on Houthi targets in Yemen, including Sanaa’s international airport, in retaliation for a missile strike near Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport.

The attacks killed at least three and injured dozens, and marked Israel’s second strike on Yemen in recent days.

Meanwhile, former President Trump announced the U.S. would halt its own strikes after the Houthis agreed to stop targeting Red Sea shipping, though the Houthis insisted their support for Gaza remains unchanged.

The UN warned of escalating regional tensions, the Associated Press has reported.

Israel also continued airstrikes in Gaza, killing at least 18 people at a school shelter.
