200+ alleged child predators arrested in FBI operation, officials say

Over 200 suspected child predators were arrested and 115 children rescued in a five-day nationwide sting operation called “Operation Restore Justice,” federal officials announced.

The effort involved 55 FBI field offices and over 90 U.S. Attorneys Offices, targeting online enticement, child sex trafficking, and child abuse material crimes.

Among those arrested were individuals in trusted roles, including teachers and law enforcement, The Hill has reported.

Authorities urged parents to closely monitor their children’s online activity, warning that predators can target kids through games, social media, and other online platforms.
