At least 10 people in California and Nevada have been hospitalized in a listeria outbreak linked to ready-to-eat products from Fresh & Ready Foods LLC.
The FDA traced the outbreak to products sold in multiple western states at locations such as hospitals, hotels, stores, and airports, the Associated Press has reported.
The company has issued a voluntary recall of affected items with “use by” dates from April 22 to May 19, under brands including Fresh & Ready Foods, City Point Market Fresh Food to Go, and Fresh Take Crave Away.
