McDonald’s announced plans to hire up to 375,000 workers this summer, its largest hiring target in years, during a news conference with U.S. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer.

The event also marked the 10th anniversary of the company’s “Archways to Opportunity” education program.

McDonald’s has strengthened ties with the Trump administration during his second term, including a $1 million donation to his inauguration, CNBC has reported.

As it expands, McDonald’s plans to open 900 new U.S. locations by 2027.
