Wisconsin judge indicted on allegations she helped man evade ICE agents

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, 66, has been indicted on charges of concealing a person from arrest and obstruction after allegedly helping an undocumented migrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, evade arrest by ICE agents.

Prosecutors claim Dugan attempted to assist Flores-Ruiz and his lawyer in leaving the courtroom through a back door.

Dugan faces up to six years in prison if convicted.

She denies the charges and plans to plead not guilty, Al-Jazeera has reported.

The case comes amid heightened immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, with critics accusing the government of targeting Dugan for opposing ICE actions.
