A suspected suicide bombing targeting a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan killed three children, a driver, and a guard, with dozens more injured.
Pakistan blamed India for orchestrating the attack through proxy groups, while India denied the “baseless” allegations.
The incident follows heightened tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbors after recent cross-border strikes and a fragile ceasefire declared on May 10, The Guardian has reported.
No group has claimed responsibility, but Pakistan’s military and leadership have accused India of sponsoring terrorism within its borders, amid a rise in attacks by separatist and Taliban-linked groups.
