U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee criticized the leaders of the U.K., France, and Canada for condemning Israel’s renewed military offensive in Gaza, calling their stance “outrageous” and “hypocritical.”
Israel resumed heavy airstrikes and mass evacuations in Gaza, where over 53,000 Palestinians have reportedly been killed since October 2023.
While international leaders denounced Israel’s actions as “disproportionate,” Huckabee defended them, likening the response to Allied bombings in WWII, NPR has reported.
He dismissed claims that President Trump is frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, saying Trump is more upset with Hamas.
