A small jet crashed into a San Diego neighborhood, killing 6 people

A Cessna 550 business jet crashed in a San Diego neighborhood after hitting power lines during an attempted landing in poor weather, killing all six onboard and injuring eight people in the Murphy Canyon military housing community.

The pilot, despite warnings of low visibility, continued with the landing approach.

The crash ignited fires, destroyed cars, and damaged homes.

Residents rushed to help evacuate neighbors, saving lives amid the chaos, CNN has reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but officials say it’s a “miracle” no residents were killed.
