AI robots help nurses beat burnout and transform hospital care

A global shortage of 4.5 million nurses is projected by 2030, largely due to burnout. To address this, Taiwan’s hospitals are adopting AI and robotics to ease staff workloads.

One key solution is Nurabot—a collaborative nursing robot developed by Foxconn and Kawasaki using Nvidia AI—which performs physically demanding tasks like delivering medications and guiding visitors.

This allows nurses to focus on core patient care and reduces burnout risk, Fox News has reported.

Foxconn is also using Nvidia-powered AI tools and digital twins to enhance hospital operations, test robots in virtual settings, and improve overall healthcare efficiency.
