The body of climber Alex Chiu, 41, was found two days after he fell about 3,000 feet while ascending Mount McKinley (Denali) in Alaska, the National Park Service confirmed.
Chiu was climbing the West Buttress route with two others on Monday when he fell at a spot called Squirrel Point.
His teammates were unable to locate him and descended for help.
Bad weather delayed recovery efforts until Wednesday.
Chiu is one of several climbers who have died along this route since 1980, CBS News has reported.
The incident occurred during the peak of Denali’s climbing season.
