The devices could shed light on key decisions regarding lockdowns, masks, and connections to the Wuhan lab.

Patel called the discovery a major step in the ongoing investigation into the pandemic’s origins, though details on how the devices were found and verified remain unclear.

Fauci has denied all accusations of a cover-up, but critics argue he downplayed the lab-leak theory and misled the public, the Daily Mail has reported.

International intelligence agencies, including Germany’s BND, now consider a lab leak probable.
