Pope Leo XIV met with Argentine President Javier Milei at the Vatican on Saturday.

Following their meeting, Milei held talks with top Vatican officials, where they reaffirmed strong bilateral ties and discussed shared concerns, including economic development, poverty reduction, and peace efforts amid global conflicts.

The visit follows Milei’s attendance at Pope Francis’ funeral and Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration, Vatican News has reported.
