A 21-year-old Seattle man, Earl Enderson Riley IV, has been charged with multiple burglaries targeting homes of high-profile athletes, including MLB and NFL stars.
Riley is accused of leading a series of thefts that began in February, stealing over $300,000 in luxury items from homes belonging to Mariners players Luis Castillo and Julio Rodriguez, and former Seahawks star Richard Sherman.
He also allegedly targeted homes of Dodgers pitcher Blake Snell and Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez.
Riley is being held on $1 million bail, with his arraignment set for June 16, CBS News has reported.
The case is part of a broader trend of professional athletes being targeted in home burglaries across the U.S.
