Authorities believe they spotted ex-soldier Travis Decker, who is wanted in deaths of 3 daughters

Authorities believe they may have spotted Travis Decker, a former soldier wanted for the murders of his three young daughters, near a remote alpine lake in Washington state.

A helicopter crew saw a lone hiker near Colchuk Lake who fled upon being spotted, prompting a renewed search in the mountainous area.

Decker, 32, has been the focus of a manhunt since June 2, when the bodies of his daughters—ages 5, 8, and 9—were found suffocated at a campground, the Associated Press has reported.

He is trained in survival and has previously lived off the grid. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
