A knife-wielding man, identified as Jonathan Wohl, 37, attacked three court officers in a targeted assault at Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday morning, slashing two in the face and neck and injuring a third.

Wohl, who has a history of arrests and was known for harassing court staff, had no scheduled appearance that day.

The injured officers are in stable condition, and Wohl was subdued and taken into custody at the scene, the New York Post has reported.

The attack has reignited concerns over safety and understaffing in New York courthouses, with union leaders urging immediate action to protect court personnel and the public.
