Putin says Russia could help broker a deal between Iran and Israel

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to mediate between Israel and Iran, proposing a peaceful resolution that would allow Iran to pursue civilian nuclear energy while addressing Israeli security concerns.

He emphasized Russia’s neutral role and shared proposals with all involved parties but stressed that the final decision lies with Israel and Iran.

Despite warm ties with both nations, Putin noted Iran has not sought Russian military aid.

U.S. President Trump dismissed the offer, urging Putin to focus on resolving Russia’s conflict in Ukraine instead, the Associated Press has reported.
