Trump says both Iran and Israel violated the ceasefire

President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran following a 12-day conflict he called the “12 Day War,” but said both sides violated the truce.

Israel accused Iran of launching missiles after the ceasefire began, which Iran denied.

Trump expressed disappointment with both nations.

The conflict began after Israel struck Iranian sites on June 13 to prevent a perceived nuclear threat, prompting retaliatory attacks from Iran, the Associated Press has reported.

The fighting left 28 dead and over 1,300 affected in Israel.
